Outdoor Adventures in the Rocky Mountains

Hey, I'm Gretchen
My family and I have spent the past 20 years roaming across central Colorado, and we fell madly in love with the beautiful mountains in Twin Lakes. From backpacking, peak bagging, trail running, mountain biking, paddling, fishing and more, you can do it all from the home base of the Wolf Den.
In this blog, you’ll learn how to make the most of your vacation. We share our favorite Twin Lakes and Leadville destinations, restaurants, activities and more. Don’t see what you’re seeking here? Drop Gretchen an email and let’s start planning!

About Twin Lakes
Twin Lakes is a historic Colorado mountain town that served as a corridor between Leadville and Aspen during the area’s mining boom starting in the mid 1860s. Named for the shimmering lakes that expand across the valley, this small town serves up a treasure of beauty and alpine adventure.
